Celebrating the duality in the tradition of sharing tea. This project alludes to the history of cross-culture pollination between different cultural backgrounds. 青花瓷 (blue + white porcelain) is a Chinese porcelain and Delftware is a Dutch earthenware.
Confluence is modeled in Rhino, 3D printed, and then slip casted from molds with M370 slip.
The blue is achieved through underglaze and sealed with a bright clear glaze.
